Fashion Buyer - Permanent Position
Exceptional opportunity for a Senior Buyer to join a UK Blue Chip organisation based in Northampton. You will need to be a Fashion Buyer with retail buying experience, preferably buying lingerie/casual wear. My client needs a Fashion Buyer who will drive the buying process and lead a team through managing the day-to-day product development process.
You will support the Buying Manager to continually deliver sales and margin requirements of commercial marketing teams across EMEA region. Develop excellent supplier relationships and along with the Buying Manager, manage and develop the Fashion team.
The ability to interpret market trends appropriately for customers and a passion for the product is essential, along with the ability to build sound business relationships with the Commercial and Supply Chain Teams.
A buying qualification is preferred along with a degree education and 2 year?s fashion buying experience, especially in the lingerie/nightwear retail industry sector.
Ideally you will have a buying qualification and a university degree with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
