Our client manufactures specialist peelable coatings and they are looking for a Senior Development Chemist to formulate and develop new products, improve existing formulations, provide both internal and external technical support and may be required to travel in the UK and overseas from time to time to visit customers and suppliers. Main duties and Responsibilities

Formulate and develop new products

Improve existing formulations

Identify and explore potential new product or market opportunities.

Provide both internal and external technical support.

Maintain formulation and costing databases.

Liaise with suppliers

Work with the manufacturing department to scale up new formulation
