My client a leader in automotive development and manufacture is looking for a Production Engineer to support the strategic growth of their manufacturing team. Tasked with the full life cycle of manufacturing projects you will be responsible for documenting and engineering the process and equipment required for production.

You will design, specify and sign off tooling and machinery whilst evaluating existing manufacturing systems. You will maintain and develop process documentation including process flow and FMEA, and constantly assess overall equipment effectiveness.
Using a range of programming languages you will produce and understand CNC part programmes, prove out programmes and continually optimise processes.

Candidate:
Ideally HND or degree educated in Mechanical/Production Engineering you will have demonstrable experience within a production machining environment, preferably automotive. You will be able to specify and procure required tooling, fixtures and equipment required for production and construct CNC programmes. You will have developed problem solving skills and the ability to project manage working between the production and engineering teams.

Required for the role:
*Work in partnership with the Operating Business management team to fully understand the business objectives and strategy to ensure that these are translated and supported by IT systems, applications, processes and projects. Champion the business need to drive delivery through effective IT solutions.
*Support the Operating Business IT requirements by taking accountability for delivery of specific IT projects. Work with IT Programme Delivery and Infrastructure teams to understand current and future IT support and facilitate the effective project management of future developments.
*Work with stakeholders through regular business reviews to translate the business IT requirements and ensure they are documented to IT Department standards and can be accessed by IT colleagues.
*Build strong working relationships with the Operating Business, to ensure that the business and the IT department are kept fully aware and up to date with items of common interest and to identify issues and risks as early as possible. Drive effective relationships by ensuring IT deliver a strong service and that any conflicts or issues are resolved promptly.
*Act as the link between the business, the specialist IT teams and external parties to specify business requirements during a project life cycle. Manage stakeholder relationships through project developments and ensure that changes to scope are communicated and any delivery delays are understood and agreed with stakeholders.
*Ensure that the Business Relationship Manager receives regular reports on Business progress; including regular reviews of prioritised work schedules, work in progress and future developments.
*Assist the Business Relationship Manager, senior IT managers and the operating business with the Annual Budgeting process (AOP).

For this role candidates will need to be; self-motivated with drive and initiative capable of working autonomously, without day-to-day supervision, ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, ability to develop empathy with business users and key stakeholders and to work effectively in cross-functional teams. We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join our dynamic Operations Delivery Team based at our new Daventry depot.

The successful candidate will form a key interface with major name customers. You will have excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus and, ideally, experience in a similar role.

The primary duties of the Operations Manager comprise the management of train crew and their competences, delivery of Safety Audits, and 'On Call' duties. In addition the successful applicant will be required to perform train driving duties and other operational tasks for which they are approved.
